These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by YAV Artists. By making an enquiry or booking, you agree to the following terms.

Services
YAV Artists provides professional hair and make-up services for weddings and events. The Agency reserves the right to assign the most suitable artist from its team unless a specific artist has been explicitly confirmed.

Booking Process
Following your enquiry, availability will be checked and your requirements discussed. A tailored quote will be provided. A booking is only confirmed once the quote has been accepted and the contract has been signed. At this point, your event date is officially reserved. After confirmation, you will be in direct contact with your assigned artist to finalise all styling details.

Payment Terms
A retainer secures your booking date. The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 20 days prior to the event.
All payments must be made directly to YAV Artists.
Failure to complete payment on time may result in cancellation or release of the booking.

Trial services are booked separately and are to be paid directly to the artist on site.

Bridal Trials
Trials are available and typically scheduled 3–9 months prior to the event. For destination weddings, trials may also be arranged on location the day before the event, subject to availability.

Cancellation Policy
If the Client cancels a confirmed booking, the following fees apply:
90–60 days before the event: 30% of the total amount
60–30 days before the event: 50% of the total amount
Less than 30 days before the event: 100% of the total amount

If the event is postponed due to official pandemic-related restrictions, no cancellation fees will apply. In all other cases, the standard cancellation policy applies.

Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for providing an accurate schedule, ensuring all participants are ready on time, and providing a suitable workspace, including a clean and well-lit area with a table and chair.
Delays caused by the Client may result in reduced service time without refund.

Travel and Additional Costs
Travel costs and any additional expenses, including parking, accommodation, or early start fees, will be communicated in advance and added to the final invoice.

Artist Assignment
If the assigned artist becomes unavailable due to illness, accident, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, YAV Artists reserves the right to provide a replacement artist of equal professional standard.

Photography and Marketing
YAV Artists may use photographs and videos from the event for portfolio and marketing purposes. If the Client wishes to keep the event private, this must be communicated in writing prior to the event.

Allergies and Liability
The Client is responsible for informing the Agency of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to the service.
YAV Artists is not liable for allergic reactions, skin conditions, or any issues arising from the use of products during the service.

Artists operate as independent professionals and are responsible for their own tools, products, and professional conduct.

Non-Solicitation
Clients introduced through YAV Artists remain clients of the Agency. Any attempt to bypass the Agency and book artists directly is not permitted.

Confidentiality
All client information, particularly for private or high-profile events, will be treated with strict confidentiality and will not be disclosed without consent.

Force Majeure
YAV Artists shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to illness, accidents, or external restrictions. In such cases, a suitable solution will be arranged.

Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
